House Of Mandarin
MANDARIN
It's a language. It's a culture. It's a way of life.
It also represents cuisine that originates from the royal courts of China comprising mild spices, colorful vegetables,
delicate meats and rice, to create a medley of colors, textures, aromas and flavors.
It made its way into India via Calcutta in the 1700s thanks to tea traders from China coming down to trade with the
East India Company, along with the Cantonese carpenters, Hakka shoemakers
and Tannery workers, Hubeinese dentists, and Shandong silk traders.
The cuisine has also evolved as an undisputed sub-culture that is our own. House of Mandarin is an homage
to the glorious ancestry of Chinese food in India. You will find the distinct nuances of the very
authentic taste that has become an integral part of our cuisine today.
